La Chinata Acorn Fed Ibérica Presa comes from Iberian porks reared and fed exclusively with acorns and natural herbs from Dehesa Extremeña. It is the most veined part for its intramuscular fat, it is in the best part of the loin, between the shoulder and the head of the loin, and it is very juicy, tender and tasty.
These porks presume to be bred under a free grazing regime in the large tracts of land in the Dehesa Extremeña, and they feed on acorns from the montanera season.
The Dehesa Extremeña produces a large quantity of high quality acorns and thanks to its large tracts of land allows porks to move freely and feed exceptionally in a perfect climate for their development.
The result is an acorn-fed Ibérica Presa with an unctuous texture that presents a bright reddish colour with burgundy tones and pearly white veins.
Its flavour is intense, juicy and balanced between the exquisite selection of meat with the aromas of Pimentón de la Vera and salt.
This Acorn-fed Ibérica Presa naturally contains oleic acid, the same present in our Extra Virgin Olive Oil, which comes from the acorns with which these Iberian porks feed.
La Chinata Acorn Fed Ibérica Presa is packed in a careful case with thin slices cut by hand using a knife and already placed in a spiral ready to be plated. It is recommended to remove from the refrigerator at least one hour before so that the product is tempered and you can appreciate all its aroma and flavour.
It is an exquisite product that can be accompanied with a few drops of La Chinata EVOO, as well as with our Tapas Crackers "Regañás"
